Though I want to feel sorry for you I cannot. Between all the things you have written I was trying to find one small indication to know that you are sorry for what you have done. I did not find one. You are arrogant enough to blame the immigration laws for not permiting you to come to the US, but never really looked into your own flaws for flouting drug laws.

The government is telling my family I am not an adequate person to form a family with in the U.S. because I was deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana, yet it is granting the 212(d)(3) Waiver for Non-Immigrant Visas to Aliens deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana and who wish to travel to the U.S.. United States Citizens need an Immigrant Visas Waiver available to their Alien Immediate Relatives deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of Marijuana in order to even the scales on both U.S. citizen and Alien immigration privileges concerning Deported Aliens with a Drug-Related Offence of More than 30 Grams of Marijuana.
The way things are now U.S. citizens without a criminal conviction and with Alien Immediate Relatives are being discriminated against by their own government. The needs of deported Aliens with criminal convictions are being placed before their own.
It�s pure hypocrisy and it�s my family�s and my name being placed on the line.
I mean, really, how great can the U.S. be if it�s willing to lose their citizens to aliens like me when they decide to move outside of the United States to join their Immediate and shunned Alien Relatives? The U.S. government�s violation of my family�s civil human rights to liberty, freedom of expression and equality before the law is unwarranted. My U.S. family�s civil liberties to equal protection under the law, to due process and privacy are being discriminated against, they are not receiving fair treatment.

Get one thing done is better than spreading limited resources on multiple topics. To increase immigration quotas is not achievable before presidential election is done.
Why not just focus on getting name check delay solved. It is under congress scrutiny already, all need are to add more oil to the fire.

I think calling your university presidents and asking them to show their support for these bills would also be a very good idea.
This bill will encourage pursuit of higher education in US by foreign students in a significant way.
I think this is a good idea. All US graduates should Email or fax there University Presidents. As we know congress does listen to the education industry. All IV members graduated from US universities should contact there respective university presidents.

this is a one-sided view of someone hell-bent over renting is better than buying.
not all the things make sense for all areas of US. In texas you can buy 2000+ sq.ft area house for around 200k.
and if you take 15 yrs mortgage, you will not pay more money towrads your interest.
people on internet have their own agenda. dont fall for this one unless the guy is Warren Buffett or the likes of him...

Dude, You are looking at not getting a RFE based on the pics. Not that picture people or JCPenny takes great pics and make u look like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise.

I got 2 RFE's for pictures only. Those are the only 2 RFE's till date for me.
I had real bad experience with digital pics. But there are many people who didnt have any issues. So it is all your luck.
If you have RFE, it sets u back by 2 months for the approval.

Thats a good analysis. As you noted EB-2 India got only 14K visas as opposed to other predictions of 30-32K visas. I have long said that the variable here is how EB1 and EB-2 ROW demand numbers. A lot of folks assumed that all the spill over will end up in the EB-2 I/C lap. It does not as long as there is no retrogression across the entire EB-2 category severely, making the old PD golden (this is not going to happen) or there is very less demand for EB1 and EB2-ROW numbers.
While I agree with your analysis, I feel that the number of employers/applicants filing for Labor/140/485 has started a downward spiral in 2008. This means lesser demand for EB1 and EB-2 ROW numbers making the numbers available to EB-2 I & C. Again, it is very well possible that there are just enough number of people from both Eb1 & EB-2 ROW categories left & entering in the system to deny the numbers to EB-2 I & C. Unless the state of the economy continues like this, shedding 600K jobs in one month, equal to number jobs in the state of Maine, we can't say that EB-2 I & C can become close to current or leap into 2007 and beyond. Then we might be current and have a GC but the economic situation would be so worse that people don't care for GC. God Forbid we have to see that and lets hope and pray that the Stimulus will resuscitate the economy

I have just done that....and will also call them and ask them to vote.
In the past, your friends may not have responded to such requests to vote or write to senators. Don't be disheartened. Everyone in this mess is suffering. So, keep asking friends nevertheless, to vote and express support.

the two reasons why you would want to enroll in COBRA are:
1. insuring yourself and family for the one month or so. without insurance, everything is expensive.
2. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. If you are without insurance for some time period that time period is deducted from the typical 6 month or so waiting period of coverage of pre-existing conditions. But I think even in this case there is some grace period of 30-60 days. I suspect if you were covered 30-60 days prior to start of coverage by an employer sponsored plan, then the waiting period is waived. but you need to read the fine print for this.
