If you have created a login as customer in USCIS website at @ https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp.
As soon as you log in you can see the last updated date of your case.
You may atleast know if something changed on your cases internally based on this LUD

There may be a slight decrease in number because of retrogression, but i believe the bros&sis in the citizenship queue will compensate for that.
Naturalization queue is much bigger than AOS queue now and it has political clout. I guess probably thats the reason why they are expediting the namecheck now. USCIS dont want to be dragged into voter suppression mess.:)

I am surprised to see People with April 2001 PD still waiting. Do you know the reason of getting stuck as your PD is current for some time.

Anyone invoking AC21 with unapproved I-140?
Hello Guys,
I am planning to utilize AC21. My PD is OCT 2005, EB2 India, I-140 was approved in June 2006 and I-485 filed on 2nd July 2007.
The question I have is if my current employer can do anything, I mean anything at all, now?

RD: 9/2. I raised SR to expedite. Not sure if they accept it.
Contacted congressman and sent them documents.

If you are planning on taking action against the attorney for fraud and mis representation, you may want to file a complaint in the bar of the state where your attorney practices. People with '01/'02 PD's getting GCs before the rest is a bad thing because .....?
One minor side effect is that India EB dates might further retrogress because still there a lot of folks with PD 2001,2002 etc pending namecheck clearance.

This is a very good news that I have heard since last July. I am not sure if MBA's will also be condidered as part of this bill. I have paid around $90 K from my pocket, to get my MBA from Duke.
If that is the case then I would recommend that anyone who has any kind of support from their employer (or even without it) should get a masters degree as soon as possible. This will not only increase our value but will also shorten the queue.... just my 2 cents.
Unfortunately MBA does not fall under STEM degree list.
Per the recent OPT extension rule announcement by USCIS, you can write to them as they are taking suggestions with the reasons why MBA should be included. It will be hard to pursue because it is difficult to show shortage of skilled workers with MBA skills needed in US, but you are welcome to send USCIS letters.

Reality is DREAM act is directly connected to HISPANIC votes for Democrats, EB community doesnt have any VOTING rights, neither they get any support from the folks who are already GC/UScitizenship holders.
Once people are out of this GC mess, they all start talking about anti immigration and that's the reality, u go to any indian community around and see how much support you have from those folks who have GC/US citizenship.
That brings a new point for IV leadership. In line with HISPANIC movement, can we take/seek help from various associations of India/China like the ones in link Indian Associations in the US : NRI Desi Associations in USA : India Social, Cultural, Religious Organisations (http://www.thokalath.com/North-America/Indo-American-Community.php)
