I have heard of the 2TB limit per drive before. I cannot confirm this 100% though as all my drives are less than 2TB. I have 3.5 TB total but it consists of 3x 1TB and 1x 500GB.
I think 2TB drives are a great option for you. They can be had for as little as 75-80 each these days and 4 of them would give you 8TB in your file server. Not too shabby.
I myself plan to buy a couple 2TB drives soon as I am running out of space even with 3.5 TB.

I'm wondering how many drives I can get into the space where the CD drive cage is? I know its deep enough as there is a cage with 2 underneath it. I reckon about 4-5 drives.
In the meantime I bought a little gizmo so I can put 2x 2.5 inch drives in 1 5.25 space. Will make one the system drive and the other its time machine so I can use the 4 main caddies for 3.5 inch drives. might do the same above and use a firewire dvd drive.
I'm chasing as 2 Sata port card as well :D

Get a $100 inkjet cd/dvd printer. I use the Epson R320 (has a few more bells and whistles). You can Google images and print just about any kind of image on your discs. They look GREAT!
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

I have a R200 and made a bulk-in to save some money on ink... but i'm not so much satisfied... original ink looks better anyway.
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

Since it reacently became freeware I have to include TextWrangler (http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/) from BareBones, an exellent free alternative to BBEdit, also from Bare Bones. This one doesn't suck,� either... ;)

It is adapted from a desktop picture that i made.
I will send you a copy of it if you PM me your email address. It is to big to post here without losing alot of quality, and messing up the edges as JPEG compression does. Also tell me if you want the orange one or just a plain copy of the skull that you can color yourself.

Randomly my macbook will boot and have no video or KB.trakpad input.
I wil have to hook up an external display and mouse and keyboard to be able to log in and work.
its a has anyone sen this before? The Macbook boots then shows a blue screen and it fades to black and then will not display video on my macbooks LCD, but will on an external display.

Is your iPhone set up as a brand new phone or restored from an old backup?
Because it definitely seems like iPhones (all models) slow down once they have a pretty long "history".

I love the play by play given on the homepage here, but I rather prefer the video edition provided on itunes- does anyone remember from last year how long it took after the keynote was given before it was posted on iTunes?
