Hey its Guidi again,
I too have had that un-even focus problem. The photo was in focus on the right and out of focus on the left. Very wierd. Nikon told me it was a depth of field problem but both subjects were standing exactly at the same distance from the camera.

Yes. Even I did not know it. I was trying to find out if Cspan was showing the hearings in Dallas and found this. I immediately tried calling the lines but they all seemed busy. There were some callers who were criticizing foreign high skilled immigrants and that jobs were being taken away from them and wages were being lowered and they are being allowed to come and stay in the country.
Lets see how the hearings go in Dallas. FYI IV has tried contacting the speakers in the hearing.

Dont buy air tickets that fly thru UK. Be a dignified India and question why they need a transit visa, when you are not going to set even 1 inch outside the airport.

Because of illegals granted amnesty any legal immigrant filing after Apil 30, 2001 faced longer waits and backlogs because they consumed the existing quota of immigrant visas. In essencem legals were penalized for obeying the law and standing in line.
Let's do a poll to see how many EB3IND folks will be willing to be a party to a class action lawsuit to provide relief. Obviosuly if the lawsuit prevails the plaintiff's pending GC applications will be approved. GCOP, mirage or anyone else- want to put up a poll (i don't know how to do it)
This might be a better option for many who cannot do a Writ of Mandamus lawsuit

Except July Fiasco , I don't see dates ever moving forward in July VB; but they do move in August VB.
Has anything changed in spillover laws in last 1 year - which will explain this no movement in July but in August?

Thank you so much for your responses! I did not mean to lie to the consulate when I answered "no" on the form the previous time. I think the thing that we've actually came back in time proves it. The new DS-160 form doesn't have this questions because I've heard that many people were confused by it. The consulate officer did not ask us if we were planning to immigrate to the US. I know of quite a few people who were issued a non-immigrant visa while replying "yes" to that question. Does it mean the law was broken on that case?
Does it matter if the "I-130" was not approved yet? Does it count "immigration intent" from the date they've received documents from my brother? Please comment. Thank you.

IV is the only group that is trying something for EB gc's!!! If you don't agree with IV mission statement - least you can do is SHUT UP! If you have other selfish agenda's take them some place else... don't use IV as a platform to segregate a group.
(In my personal opinion... IV should BAN anyone who suggests anything that breaks this group down! Enough is ENOUGH!)

Hi all,
I have sent my application for ead renewal on 05/03 to phoenix lockbox. The application was rxd. and signed for on 05/04.
However i have not seen my checks cashed yet nor received any information from USCIS.
has anyone else experienced delays with phoenix lockbox?
What steps can i take now?

Degree may be from anywhere in world as long as the institute is accredited by local accredeting body. I checked U21 and really could not understand its legal status. It looks like a group of universities under one umbrella body. As long as you have a degree from a accredited university, you are fine.
Once again, you will need a Masters degree , a diploma will mostly not work (but check with attorney)

I used to be client of Gowda couple of years back and I did not like the experience at all.
My situation was little different. Gowda's firm was the de-facto firm used by my employer although I used to pay all attorney fees out of my pocket. In spite of me paying for his fees the firm always put my employer's interests ahead of mine. My employer then was a typical blood sucking desi consultancy shop and used pending GC as one of their leverage to make employees stuck with them in spite of poor pay scale. As far as my own experience goes Gowda's firm happily played along with my employer in the grand scheme. They denied me any update regarding whether my labor was cleared as well as didn't send me any original approval notices/receipts etc. at my employer's request. When I raised lot of noise I was finally told I can no longer have direct access to the attorneys and have to route my requests through my employer! I wised up, cut short my losses and ditched both of them to join a big respectable company loosing my earlier PD and approved labor in the process (which I'm sure my employer must have sold back when LC substitution was legal). I finally received my GC in September.
Your experience maybe different if you directly retain Gowda without involving your employer. Competency is not an issue here, conflict of interest is.
This is a news RK charging for suggestions.
I spoke to him couple of times prior to becoming his client and he never charged me anything.
He was very polite and replied all my questions. He even responded to my emails. This was in 2006.
I also suggest Amarnath Gowda(www.gowda.com), even he won;t charge any money for the suggestions to the general questions.
I used Gowda and RK and I was satisfied with both of them.
You should clear most of your questions prior to hire any attorney, then choose them according to to your satisfaction.
