Thanks brb2 for picking up on my concern.I was afraid,not a single person would reply.This problem is going to be as bad as the BEC one if nothing gets done about it.Its so unfair and there are soooooooooo many people stuck at that stage with no hope of even knowing their status,until its actually approved or denied.Cant even imagine how frustrating that is going to be.Yet somehow not many seem worried about it.Even though i am not at that stage yet,its painful to see my friends go through it.They have resigned themselves to wait endlessly.If we can fight against the unfairness of the july flip flop,we can surely do something about this.I am sure core group has this in mind but it'll help if all members show the same anxiety!!Maybe we can bring this up along with the SKILL bill.Maybe the FBI needs more funds or manpower,watever it is,let them ask for it and get it,instead of stuffing us all into this bottomless pit!!

Based on what you believe that "BC has a much higher standard of living than Boston?". I hope that is not one of those silly annual surveys in which they interview low income and beggars on the streets and rate mainly based on health care and welfare for them.

Yesterday i got my receipt i check the status online the status is saying
Receipt Number: LINXXXXXXXX
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Fingerprint fee rejected and notice mailed; case in suspense.
On August 21, 2007, we rejected your fingerprint fee and mailed you instructions for how to submit the necessary payment. This case is now in suspense.
Please submit your payment with our notice as soon as possible after you receive our notice so we may resume processing of this case.
But USCIS cashed my checks i didn't know what went worng the total amount i paid is 325+70,170,180.
Did any guys get same kind of problem?
My online status is same as yours but I received FP notice and have given finger prints. My AP status online says that they have mailed me GC sometime back. If only online status were 100% correct. My lawyer says there are errors in online status so don't believe them 100%.

I look for a help in terms of clarification for birth cert,,
1. Born in 70 but my birth was registered in 2005 when I wanted a birth certificate, BC issued in aug 2005 and says registered in 2005. Is it ok I use them or I need an affidavit also from my parents?
2. There is one letter written wrongly in my name.. can i send or get a new one??

1) to update their DSLR's more then once every 3 years
2) not to make their own chips but to outsource them from sony
Its kinda sad that Nikon have to create FUD about their DSLR sales to create imaginary market share. I have it on good authority that their market share of the worldwide DSLR market is under 30%.
The failure of the D2H to be even remotely competitive with the 1D Mk 11 even though both cameras had similar development cycles is simply a embarrassment.

Hello All ,
My application for i485 , i765 and i131 was recvd in Lincoln,Nebraska on July 23 , 2007. (Sent by my company's attorney on July 21) . I have been waiting for over 2 months for any updates or receipt notice but nothing so far . After reading some forums in this website , i called USCIS (number from USCIS website) and got my case escalated to an officer who asked my last name ,first name , date of birth and coutry of birth . He gave me all the three receipt numbers for AOS , AP and EAD . All the receipts numbers are starting with WAC meaning the cases were xferred from Nebraska to California Service Center . When i looked at online status of i485 case , it says the case is xferred to Nebraska since it is in their jurisdiction . The other two cases for EAD and AP are pending . I still have not recvd any receipt notices from my attorney . So , i guess everyone who is waiting for their receipt notices might want to call USCIS and get their numbers .

If I plan to use EAD instead of H1/H4... Do I still need to maintain I-94??
This is a very valid question for spouses on H4 using EAD... When their H4 I-94 expires, they won't get a new I-94 unless travel outside country... This is little confusing.. May be we've some one with better knowledge about this issue...

Mr Dobbs of course did not question these numbers and facts and there has been no subsequent supporting information to back up such claims that negatively affect the perception of legal immigrants to the US.
Meanwhile Michale Moore has stated on his website that they "are now going to start looking into the veracity of other reports you have aired on other topics. Nothing you say now can be believed. In 2002, the New York Times busted you for bringing celebrities on your shows and not telling your viewers they were paid spokespeople for the pharmaceutical companies. You promised never to do it again. But there you were, in 2005, talking to Joe Theismann, on air, as he pushed some drug company-sponsored website on prostate health. You said nothing about about his affiliation with GlaxoSmithKline.
Clearly, no one is keeping you honest, so I guess I'm going to have to do that job, too"

My I-140 was recently approved. 140-485 filed concurently in July 2007. I have a new job offer and plan to use AC21. However I am worried because the wages at new job would be significantly higher than the old job. There are two reasons for the big difference
1-Desi employer v/s corporate employer
2-Dallas v/s New York
Any comments from people who have faced similar situation will be highly appreciated.
