No worries I also e-filed on july 02dn 2008. received paper receipts on july 11th 2008.
after waiting for almost a month or more finally received my FP appointment schedule on august 08th 2008 and on the same day received CRIS e-mail for RFE. FP notification was sent by MSC (National benefits Centre).
I guess their is some miscommunication between MSC and NSC...looks like the adjudicators started processsing the apps, but couldnt find the finger prints in their system.
Once I receive the RFE in hand i would know what information USCIS is requesting and from which service centre issued RFE.
I went for e-file just to make sure that USCIS doesnt loose the forms in their huge backlog of applications, but apparently Paper file ead renewals are working much faster than e-filed EAD. Its USCIS everything is possible in their processing logic.
Bottomline guys go for Paper based EAD renewals rather than this crap e-file, where the application are routed to different Service centres and nobody knows whats going on with their applications for months.

I 140 � Approved in 2006 and have a copy.
I 485 � Filed in Jul 2007, Receipt date Jul 02, 2007. Have copy of I 485 receipt.
Perm Labor � Have perm labor approval copy.
Since it has been more than 180 days I 485 is pending and I 140 also approved, I joined my client. Now my old employer says he will withdraw my I 140.
I would like to send AC21 job change info to USCIS my self.
Please let me know if any one is in the same situation and filed (informed) AC21 by yourself.
And also advice if anyone used new attorney only for AC21.

Just curious, why didn't you file in June 07? Your PD was current then? You would have been way ahead had you filed in June.

One thing I would like to know on those lines assume yours is true that cases do not go to officers unless PD current. So how does it work. Lets say today PD is 2003. Tomorrows VB PD becomes 04. So assume 2 cases one with RD apr 07 and one with may 07 both with same PD 04. Would april case go to him? What if during one month period VB rolls back. If hes not done would he keep case back?

I need some URGENT HELP here. My I-485 was denied and so has been MTR filed by my attorney. To give you a quick background of my case:
I-140 approved in 2007
I-1485 in August 2007
Received RFE in May 2009. The RFE had two parts to it that are as follows:

Yes, only if approved I-140 is not withdrawn or canceled before new I-140 approval.
If you are in AC21 safety net then you can recapture PD (after 180 days of 1-485 filing) even if your initial sponsoring employer withdraws his initial I-140.:o

The Pd is yours in any circumstances I 140 revoked or not.(except substitution labour case and fraud case).

I dont think there is anway of tracking money orders from USPS..

at the POE i was being given I-94 validity till Nov 2008 but i have visa till 2009, when i asked the immigration officer at POE he told me my passport was expiring in 6 months and told me to get a new passport and come back, when i went back to airport they gave me one I102 form to fill, Iam on H4 visa and i havent used my EAD yet.
My question is
1. if i send the I102 form how long will it take to get new I 94 card.
2. i need to renew my EAD which i never used before will it cause any problem. do i need to submit my copy of I94 card for renewel of EAD.
3. Other option is going out of country and coming back but after entering into USA with H4 visa i applied my SSn and i got it and till now i did not use my EAD and i did not apply for AP as its not required., so if i go out of country and come back what will be my status as i applied SSN
Answers:
1. It takes 2-3 months to get I-94 card after I-102 application.
2. I-94 is not relevent for EAD. EAD renewal is based on photocopy of I485 receipt, photocopy of previous EAD and original letter which came with EAD. Also need the know the day, previous EAD was applied.
3. When we go neighbouring countries (e.g. Canada/Mexico) and want to use AVR, we need to keep I94. At the time of AVR, exit/entry record is updated. When we go to other countries, we need to surrender I-94 to airlines for exit record to be properly updated. So I am not sure, how you want to go out and get another i-94.

I know it is overwhelming, when we get email from USCIS about RFE. But be patient it is generally for employment verification, birth certificate, medicals etc. If there is one for spouse it could be for marriage verification.
You need to wait at least 7 days before you should call to check with them. But 7 days is fair time, and 80% (no data backing) of letters are received by then.

I have traveled twice on same AP since in last 9 months. Once to canada and the other time to India. The immigration office does not look at anything other than your AP and passport. The most they will ask is what do u do and who applied for your green card.
You do not need to worry about anything and can travel freely.
