FBI security clearance has been a blackhole with many people stuck in it without having a hope of relief in sight.Everyone might have tried the senetors, congressman, snail-mails and Faxes but of no use.
How about the following new methods:
1. Send a collective petition, A common letter requesting FBI, president with the details of all those stuck in the process.
2. A letter to the news channels.
3. Web fax to the senators/congressman
Please share your ideas.

What i have heard is that the recent I140 approvals (2006/07) contains A#.

was visiting India after 5 years..the visa on my passport expired in 2003.. no transit visa.. had the new Visa document with me though.. missed the connecting KLM flight in Amsterdam & the next available flight was the following day.. the Airline staff went through my Visa document & gave me a 24-hr transit Visa & did put me up @ a hotel outside the Airport.. 'twas a blessing in disguise as I could tick AMS off my 'to visit' list..

We had CEO of HR sign it. Here is general format.
1. BACKGROUND of Company
2. description and requirement for the position
3. AC21 compatibility explaination - 180 days etc, Job description comparision with PERM
4. Conclusion and offer for employment with salary details.
I must say in my case the salary i had in original perm was way(40%) more than i am getting on my current job due to location change and economy etc. But it seems salary didn't matter.

This just beats me..Why was the conference call idea for such an important issue floated only in the Donor Forum. Fine, the Donors pay and they deserve to have some information. But if you need bigger participation from IV members, the conf. call idea should have been in the General Forum as well....
Anyways, can this still be arranged ? I would love to be a part of that in any possible way. Please let me and all the other members know.

What exactly are you trying to say?
You contradict yourself and also make a fool of yourself.
First you suggest a random date called 9th and then admit that your prior decisions and that to GC specific did not prove to be right. Why in the world you want to post your own bad record is beyond me.
just chill. I just cooked a spicy chicken with red/orange/green peppers.
Please don't spoil my dinner after going through hell past 2 days.
In opinion July 9th onward is the best time to send 485 packages to USCIS. But this is only my opinion and understanding and every one is free to do any thing with their own decisions or with help of their attorney.
Most of the time my many decisions didn�t proven to be good in past as for as my GC processing goes. So please take your own decision yourself and dont be stressed.

If for a moment we say USCIS has really increased the processing rate and more people are getting green cards which we see is the case. It may signal that on Oct 1st,2007 dates will move ahead of what was the scenario in May visa bulletin.
If we forget the mistake they did in July bulletin and see the brighter side that they process faster, we should hold back our applications now and wait for the scenario on Oct 1st 2007, which would be hopefully a give a good realistic forward movement in dates. Since receipt date is important we should not get emotional and send in the application. This is just a thought.
Making Current in July was anyway like a lottery which denied all calculations based on pending cases.Before getting into law suits and protests which are also needed we have to take stock of all the implications and whether we really can provide 100% to these efforts.
From the posts coming since yesterday, most of the members are agitated and it seems we fail to realize that this event itself was a miscalculation and all of us were trying to get benefit of it considering the long waits we have endured for just getting a chance to file AOS.
We also knew that even if the applications are accepted there was no way we can get our green cards for a long time. AC21 and EAD for spouse was the main aim of many applicants.
This is really a sad story of people who have sacrificed career prospects, faced family separation, made important decisions like marraige.
Hope this post makes sense and we take a step back and reconsider our actions. This is not out of fear but past experience of lawsuits explained in other posts.
Lets contribute... We have big day ahead of us..

All EB3 Is are coming forward. Thats a good thing.
But do we have:
- A leader to lead this effort
- Agenda to follow
- Specific Goals
- Action Items
- Immediate Goals
Without these we are not going anywhere. But just wasting our time on top of our already surmounting frustration.
I have answered in a funny way

- Agenda to follow : Everyone has one. But the single common agenda is to blame IV for EB3 dates not moving forward.
- Specific Goals : Everyone has one
- Action Items : EB3 should get all spillover and EB2 should not get it
- Immediate Goals: EB3 should get all spillover and EB2 should not get it
I see nobody serious but everyone wants some one else to help.
Here is my big idea. We should ask Bill Gates and Sonia Gandhi to help us. Instead of working on spillover for 500 visas, how about get these people to help us. They can help change INA with their contacts.
