Two of my colleagues on Nov 04 and Dec 04 didn't cleared out till.
I don't think so they are on IV, but they will use 6 cards (1+1 in one case and 1+3 in another case)
Since 2004 EB2 is cleared, I am seeing less number of posts being made on IV.Yay I became a senior member, will that mean I will get a green card?

And are you one of those people who throw empty cups in a trash can over here but chuck it onto the streets when you go back to your home country ? I bet you are. Actually you should consider yourself in the same group as these so called stupid people, cannot exclude yourself as a smart person just because you did not take an ARM. Any decent website/article/source of info will tell you that you cannot buy a house if you are planning on staying for less than 2 years.

Here is some real advice:
Letting your bank forclose on you or filing for bankruptcy is not a decision you take lightly asking people on the forum for advice. Your credit score can go down by as much as 300 points affecting you financially over the next few years which you perhaps have not really thought about. Just because you have existing loans (like credit cards) on a low rate does not mean they are 'locked'. Banks can hike the rates periodically based on your current score often to as high as 32 %. This is not pennies but can be hundreds of dollars in interest. Ever got harsh calls from collectors ? Ever got evicted from your place of residence ? Ever got denied when you try to rent ? Try living only on cash for a few weeks and see how it feels without credit. I have not gone through any of those thankfully but have seen and heard horror stories. Consult a professional or do research on your own before making a decision.

This is not true. Recently, me and one of my friend got Home Loan for a good interest rate. It all depend on your credit score and credit history and not PR. You need to provide your papers properly. If you say some statement like this, please provide evidence.

We have sent 2 magicjack's to India, one at my parents and one at in-laws....they need to have a computer and high speed internet access there. For the first yr it is costing us $40 per yr each and starting 2nd year it will cost us $20 per yr each. They call us all the time now and calls are crystal clear and you can't beat $40/year price.

There were reports that ICE officials stopped certain traffics in certain locations in Minnesota to demand legal documents and enforced illegal immigration action against the detected illegal aliens.
Until the immigration legislative activities are recharged and energized and the new CIS Director has a handle on the immigration benefits policy and management direction, it is expected that the nation's capital may remain in low key for a while when it comes to the employment-based immigration.

I am an ex British Airways employee, and I spent one year in 1997 living in London city. Please understand that the level of customer service one gets in USA, is just a dream in UK. Mishandling customers, showing a complete arrogant behavior, and a total disregard for their basic customer rights are just a few business traits in UK. I witnessed couple of BA strikes at Heathrow, and beleive me after what I saw, I will never travel with any british airline in future. You are lucky that you just saw a tip of the iceberg and came to your conclusions. It starts from their embassy, and continues throught the airlines, security checks, baggage handling, staff etc.
I like your comments about Koh-i-noor. If it was any other country, they would have happily returned it to the country where it genuinly belong. Oh by the way, during my stay at UK, I had to remind their couple of citizens about what exactly the phrase "Be British" means.

A friend of mine forgot (!!) :confused: to renew his EAD when it expired last September. He then applied for renewal 60 days after the expiration date and got his new EAD without any problem, no questions asked!
I filed for my own renewal about 90 days before the expiration date and when about 85 days had passed and I was getting worried, I called USCIS and was told: " Do you need the card to show your employer that you are legal? No? Then, don't worry about it. As long as you applied on-time, you are fine." I actually received the EAD five days after the expiration date...
These two experiences are from California Center.

I cannot renew my Driver's License if I don't have a valid work permit. I doubt whether the Receipt notice is enough for the Drivers License office to issue a new DL. I changed my employer and the new employer may ask for a new one. But I'm hoping that I might get one in less than 3 months. Let's see

I spoke to IO this morning regarding NC clearance for my family (7/2 filers). I was told whereas, my derivative's (wife and daughter) names have been cleared but there is no information on my clearance. She furthur told me the names were submitted on 8/30/07 and was told to wait for another month or so.
Guys: What is your take on this? I have started worrying now. Although they say 120 day processing time- My understanding is you are either cleared in few days or get stuck in the hole.

How the hell can they justify filing new GCs, but not accepting EAD!?
Kaiser stopped hiring on H1 since 2003. They used to hire on EADs until last week.
